After the world-stopping announcement last year about Pulp reforming and playing Wireless and a few other festivals, any further additions are frankly going to pale in significance. Mind you, the organizers have done themselves proud with the new star attractions just revealed.
Joining Jarvis and co as headliners will be Black-Eyed Peas on Friday 1st July and Chemical Brothers on the Saturday. But if you think that's all there is on offer, think again - Friday also continues the urban-pop theme with Plan B, Tinie Tempah and Example while Saturday gets deep down and heavy with Chase and Status, Janelle Monáe, Chromeo and The Whip. The real coup with Saturday however will be rare appearances from Aphex Twin and Battles - I kid you not! Justin Robertson rounds of the decidedly hefty field of dance and electronic names. I'm just wondering what the local swans will make of Richard James' Aphexy atonal aural avalanche!!
Tickets for both days will go on sale this Friday at 9am priced at £49.50 for Black-Eyed Peas and £48.50 for Chemical Brothers - VIP packages will also be made available as well tickets for all three days (£130). Don't forget there are still Pulp tickets available as well at £48.50.
