Home Video announce album 'The Automatic Process' and free single for 25th Feb 2011

Posted: 13 years ago

With their musical nods firmly in the direction of Depeche Mode, OMD and Maps, you might like Home Video to a high degree. Hailing from New York, it's probably not easy to get noticed coming from such a huge city, yet this duo (plus occasional 'live' back-up) look set to step up the interest already levelled at them for their previous Warp Records releases some half-decade ago, namely the debut single "That You Might".

The band have now opted to self-finance and release their second album, "The Automatic Process", due out on 25th Feb (download) and 25th March (physical including a fetching double white-vinyl package - hubba, hubba). You can download the title track for free via the "Automatic Process - freebie" link on the right.

One of the tracks has already had a pin-sharp video created for it - "Every Love That Ever Was" is an epic synth-pop song with visuals directed by Christian Hagerman. You can watch it right here - meanwhile the pair, Collin Ruffino and David Gross are plotting UK dates... keep 'em peeled.
