Traditionally, the Ideal Home Exhibition has taken place in London, but more recently Scotland's show has emulated its English 'sister' (or 'brother'). This year's extravaganza is no exception with tickets just released for the Glasgow-based Ideal Home Show Scotland 2011.
The exhibition will feature several personalities from our TV screens, offering advice and presentations designed to inspire and educate (and part with a lot of hard-earned, no doubt!). Glasgow's show runs from 27th - 30th May and will feature the same stars as London's, which itself is set to take place from 11th to 27th March at Earl's Court - England tickets cost £13 for a weekend ticket or £11 for a weekday ticket - daily tickets for Scotland cost £12 regardless. There are various discounted tickets available as well.
Stars at both exhibitions include 'queen of interiors' Linda Barker, 'king of home improvements George Clarke and everyone's favourite Masterchef judge, Gregg Wallace (presenting cooking and kitchenware slots), as well as ex-GMTV's Fiona Phillips hosting various fashion and catwalk shows and Suzi Perry getting all excited about gadgets. There will also be the usual shopping and eating opportunities around the SECC during the weekend.
