'Comedy of Ashes' featuring Rufus Hound - competition winners announced!

Posted: 13 years ago

This Sunday (23rd January 2011), TV funny-man Rufus Hound plays umpire as England take on Australia in the ashes... the Comedy of Ashes, that is, at the Forum in Kentish town. Batting for England in the comedy face-off are Time Out comedy award-winner Adam Bloom and the Comedy Network's Gordon Southern, who will be facing tough opposition - literally - in the shape of wrestler-turned-comedian Colin Cole and Matthew Hardy (recently voted Australia's best comic).

Tickets, cost a reasonablt £15, but Emma Townson, Daniel Hora and Kevin O'Farrell need not dip their hands in their pockets, as they have won a pair each!

The winning team on the night will be presented with a "Comedy of Ashes" urn, perhaps even better than the real thing, and, being an indoor event, there's no chance of rain stopping play. The whole thing starts at 6pm and finishes at 11pm and there are still some tickets remaining.
