The self-dubbed 'healing easy-listening Fight Pop' Glaswegian sextet with the stutter-prone name, Dananananaykroyd, mark their return next month with an eight-date UK tour, kicking off in Middlesbrough on 25th February, via the cities of Dundee (26th), Aberdeen (27th), Cambridge (1st March), Southampton (2nd), Bath (3rd), Sheffield (4th) and Liverpool on 5th March.
This comes in support of their imminent, though still-untitled second studio album (a follow-up to their 2009 debut 'Hey Everyone!'), expected in the spring and produced in Los Angeles by "The Godfather of Nu Metal", Ross Wilson, who has worked with the likes of Korn, Slipknot, The Cure, Sepultura and erm, Vanilla Ice (!!!), and most recently The Klaxons on their 2010 'Surfing the Void'.
Promising on paper (with a few omissions of the above name-check maybe), so here is your opportunity to check out Dananananaykroyd's "Fight Pop". Support for all dates comes from fellow Glaswegian Kid Adrift and Flashguns.
Tickets for the tour are on sale now and all of them will give you change from a tenner - bargain!
