The Kills

In-between one of them fronting Jack White's latest successful venture in The Dead Weather and the other spending "quality" time with his other half, Alison "VV" Mosshart and Jamie "Hotel" Hince have managed to get some work done for themselves, and The Kills' new album (their fourth) is fully recorded, mixed and mastered according to Mosshart.

So 'Blood Pressures', co-produced by Hince and mascot Bill Skibbe, will succeed to the pair's acclaimed 2008 opus, 'Midnight Boom', and be released worldwide on 4th April 2011. The record was mainly crafted Stateside, at Key Club Studios in Michigan, and inspired by "red wine, VHS tapes on Vietnam, lightning storms , bicycle rides and crashes, and failed BBQs" as per their latest blog post on Myspace.

The boy/girl duo have promised to give details of their March European tour shortly, the only UK date of which is scheduled for 3rd March at London's Heaven.

Tickets will cost £12.50 (+booking fee) and will be available this Friday (21st January), from 9AM.
