BSP have been relatively quiet for the last few years, save for the chilled atmospherics of the "Man of Aran" soundtrack from 2009 and an EP called "Zeus" released last month. A new single entitled "Living is so Easy" is out now, but this Monday sees the release of the long-awaited new album "Valhalla Dancehall" and you can hear a stirring (and a bit sweary) track called "Who's In Control" by clicking play on the BSP widget right here. The album will also include a couple of tracks from the 2010 EP "Zeus".

Truth be told, British Sea Power had already announced the new album details a while ago on their website, but since the UK tour was announced in November, a Newcastle date has now been included for 14th February. The first night is in Cardiff on 7th February 2011, followed by Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham etc until the band returns to the capital on 27th. Tickets are on sale now, costing £13.50 regionally and £15 for London.
