Kate Nash lays down foundations for 2011 spring 2011 UK tour

Incredibly it was nearly four years ago that Kate Nash burst onto the music scene with the hugely successful song "Foundations", initially championed by BBC 6 Music. The resultant album, "Made of Bricks", bothered the number 1 spot for a while and further hits guaranteed plenty of Nash exposure (so to speak).

2010 heralded her long-awaited return with the second album "My Best Friend is You" and, although the fervour has quietened down a little, Nash delivered a decent enough album. Buoyed by the hit "Do-Wah-Doo", the lady has hinted in interviews that a double album could well be on the way next year - as well as a tour, of course.

Her next UK hop will commence in Nottingham on 22nd March and continue on to larger towns and cities such as Bournemouth, Yeovil, Brighton, Reading etc until Newcastle on the 6th April. Tickets have just gone on sale at £12.50 (£15 for the Bush Hall date on 2nd April).
