Take That singer and songwriter Gary Barlow turns 40 next month, and to celebrate, he's going to hold a birthday bash at the Shepherds Bush Empire on 20th January 2011.

Proceeds from the gig, dubbed "GB40", will go to an as-yet unspecified charity, and Gary will be joined by friends on stage for a night of solo (and presumably a few Take That) songs. Tickets are being auctioned, with the highest bidders getting the standing and seated tickets available. E.g. if you are willing to pay £200 for 2 tickets (£100 per ticket), you would enter "200".

Tickets will be limited to four per household and winning bidders will be informed on Monday 20th December.
