'Early Birds' is an expression that has become fashionable to use when describing cheaper pre-sale tickets, and once again it's the turn of the increasingly-popular V Festival to shed its ticketing load ahead of the projected VAT increases next year.

From noon on Thursday 9th December to noon on Friday 10th December ONLY, you have the chance to buy tickets for V Festival 2011 at either the Weston Park or Hylands Park locations, at 2010 prices. Our article about this year's weekend shindig quoted £165 for a weekend ticket with camping, £140 without the camping or £78.50 for a day ticket so expect to pay around this sort of price. Needless to say - demand will be huge so keep trying!

The rumour mill about who might be playing the 2011 V Festival will no doubt be in full swing, given this announcement. Last year saw Kings of Leon and Kasabian head up the performances, so this year take your fantasy-pick from Muse, Coldplay, Foos or Macca - well you never know.
