Fancy shaking off this fast rising winter blues with a little bit of comforting nostalgia?

Well, ahead of festivities, Paul Young might just be your Christmas Santa as he has announced his one and only show of 2010 for next Saturday 11th December at the Park Plaza hotel in Westminster.

The 80s soul/ pop star will be accompanied by a 16-piece big band to perform his tune-aplenty repertoire, including 'Every Time You Go Away', 'Come Back And Stay' , 'Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)', 'Love of the Common People' and 'Senza Una Donna' , among others.

Wonder what lies behind this treat...? Hopefully a few teasers from an overdue upcoming record, as the last studio album, 'Rock Swings - On The Wild Side Of Swing', already dates back from 2006. Best way to find out would be to attend the event- no overstatement spared, as if tempted, you're in for a full night of it, with champagne reception (from 7pm), three-course meal and the grand finale show by Mr. Young from 10pm onwards.
