Having transformed their previous pop-sound into, um, another pop-sound, this time ramping up the pace with electronics rather than guitars, McFly have announced a 'proper' arena tour for next year. Their confidence is obviously flowing freely, since the lads have calmly opted to close the tour at the Wembley Arena (which is bound to sell out quicker than it takes to say "Shine a Light").
The tour is in support of their recently-released album "Above the Noise", which came out last week, and begins in Nottingham on 12th March, continuing across to Belfast and Dublin, before returning to the UK in Manchester etc until that closing night in London on 1st April. Tickets go on sale from next Saturday (4th December) at 9am, just the right side of pay-day!
The band will no doubt play songs from their earlier days, but will ply their current sound as shown on recent hits "Party Girl" and the collaboration with Taio Cruz, "Shine a Light".
