There's more than one way to see Levellers as they announce further 'Levelling the Land' gigs for 2011

Levellers

Back in the early 90s, Levellers were a force to be reckoned with when it came to live performances - that attribute doesn't look like waning any time soon because the Brighton folk-punksters have pretty much sold out their "Weapon Called the Word" November tour, and now look like doing the same for next year's 20th anniversary re-readings of the breakthrough set; "Levelling the Land".

So much so that extra dates have been tacked onto the beginning of the 2011 jaunt, starting with Dublin (3rd March), Liverpool (4th), Cambridge (5th), Lincoln (6th) and Bournemouth (8th), before ending in Brixton on the 19th. The new dates will go on sale on Tuesday 16th November at 9am with prices at around £23 - £25 (plus fees).

The remainder of the tour is starting to get snapped-up and, apart from the headline act of course, you've got a cracking support act in The Wonder Stuff, another premier name from the late 80s/mid 90s indie-grebo scene with more than their share of the hits - "Golden Green", "It's yer Money I'm After Baby" and "Circlesquare" spring to mind (we won't mention "Dizzy"). They will be present at every date on the Levelling the Land tour except Dublin on the 3rd March.
