The Axis of Awesome for one-off Bush Hall on 4th November 2010

Posted: 13 years ago

If you're looking for something 'awesome' to get up to next week, the Bush Hall in Shepherd's Bush might be the place to be, as it will be hosting a on-off London performance by the musical comedy trio, who goes by the well-suited name of: The Axis of Awesome.

Jordan Raskopoulos, Lee Naimo and Benny Davis are the new Aussie sensation, dubbed recently by the Daily Express as "comedy at its best", and set to dethrone fellow national Tim Minchin on his own turf by the sound of it.

The trio are cover-song geniuses, looking at '4-chord song' routine (above, right) ; a clip which boasts being the highest rated comedy video on YouTube with no less than 15 million hits. But The Axis of Awesome have got songs of their own to share, having released their second album, 'Infinite Rock Explosion!' in February and premiered their new show, "Songs in the Key of Awesome" at the Edinburgh Festival this summer. The funny threesome have also recently appeared on GMTV and Scott Mills' s Radio 1 show.

Tickets for The Axis of Awesome's Bush Hall gig are on sale now for a reasonable 15 quid, available here: www.hmvtickets.com/events/1743

This should be enough to convince you to attend for more, so fail not to get your tickets or you might contemplate regret a few months down the line when all their shows have sold out in no time for double if triple the price.
