Comedian Ed Byrne has been a busy boy of late and his schedule doesn't look like calming down next year either - he's off on tour next year as well.

Byrne has just announced a brand new show entitled Crowd Pleaser which will see the Irish funny-man tackle the heady subjects of owning a cat, meeting your heroes and being a curmudgeonly nerd (according to his website, at any rate). His support throughout the tour is Karl Spain, another very funny Irish comedian.

The tour starts in March beginning with Tunbridge Wells on the 2nd and continuing for what seems like aeons via two nights in Coventry, Milton Keynes, Reading, Glasgow, Hammersmith, Scotland (again) and finally Liverpool on 29th May. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £20 (plus fees).

This week, Thursday to be exact, sees Byrne play a 'Big Gig' in aid of the Sick Children's Trust at the Leicester Square Theatre - a great cause and a great ticket price of just £15 (selling fast). Next week, Bryne will embark on his 'Warming Up In Scotland' tour of the Highlands and Islands (most of which have now sold out - check the list for details).

Also, don't forget his stint at the Rock With Laughter 2010 concerts in December (with Lenny Henry etc) - tickets are still up for grabs for the Birmingham event.
