Hot straight off the press is news that singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow is coming to London next week. So what, I hear you retort? These are no ordinary Crow gigs in a huge venue with £8 cups of flat cola, my friends, this is grass-roots time for the million-seller.
Camden's Dingwalls and Soho's Borderline are the chosen venues for what promises to be a very entertaining and intimate pair of performances from Sheryl, with the first performance taking place at Dingwalls on Wednesday. The Borderline concert is on the following night. Both gigs follow on from her recent full UK concerts.
Tickets for both nights go on sale tomorrow (Friday 15th October) at 10am, costing £30 + fees and are sure to fly out.
Crow has recently issued the album "100 Miles From Memphis", a set of songs that draws much influence from that city's association with soul and blues, earning her a seventh Top 40 album placing.
Predictably, demand was high for the two intimate London shows and tickets have now all been snapped-up.
