American metalcore outfit Attack Attack! (yes, that's just the one exclamation mark, so not the Welsh alternative rockers), have just rescheduled their October 2010 UK to January and February 2011. I'm presuming they did not reschedule to avoid the possible name confusion - what with both bands touring at the same time - and even playing some of the same venues, but it will certainly avoid confusion for both fans and ticket agents alike.
As of yet, we do not have an official announcement for the postponement, with their myspace (www.myspace.com/attackattack) carrying the new dates, but no mention as to why, and the band's official site still having the October dates.
One thing we can tell you though is that there appears to have been a casualty: the Norwich date originally slated for 19th October appears not to be amongst the rescheduled dates, meaning that there's no viable date for Norfolk-dwelling Attack Attack! fans.
The tour now starts on 25th January in Leeds, with further dates in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Cardiff, Portsmouth and finally London's Garage on 2nd February. Tickets are a pocket-friendly £8 + fees.
If you already have tickets and are unable to make the new dates, you'll need to contact your point of purchase for a refund.
