Posted: 13 years ago

NYC electro rock duo, Evan Mast and Mike Stroud aka Ratatat, have just announced a UK tour to reach our ears and eyes at the end of November through to the first week of December.

The pair, who released their self-produced fourth studio album, handily entitled 'LP4' in June, will play a few dates, kicking off in Blackpool on the 25th via the cities of Wolverhampton, Manchester, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Brighton (1st and 4th December), London (with two dates in Ally Pally on 2nd and 3rd December, and another one in Heaven on the 7th) and Bristol. They will bring with them fellow Brooklynites, Vampire Weekend (who also released an album this year, entitled 'Contra'), on some of the dates.

So far, Ratatat, who are signed to XL Recordings (home to the likely likes of Basement Jaxx, Friendly Fires, Gotan Project and M.I.A), have released two singles off 'LP4'in 'Drugs' and 'Party with Children' (eyebrow-raising not permitted without first listening to the tunes, please).

Tickets for Ratatat's LP4 UK tour are on sale now and range from ₤10 to ₤22, plus booking fee.
