Not so long ago we reported that 4AD's Broken Records had one or two already sold-out (or soon to be sold-out) gigs coming up. It appears the band is ready to unveil their art to its fullest degree with the announcement of a full UK tour.

The previously-announced London date at the Hoxton Bar & Grill is selling fast, but there are still a few tickets left for the gig next Tuesday night. Now though, the band will move straight into 'travel-mode' with a night in Edinburgh (1st October) for an album launch before reconvening during the following month in Manchester (2nd November) and several more stopovers until Aberdeen on 14th. Tickets are on sale now, priced at a very reasonable £7.50 plus fees.

Broken Records' second album will see the light of day on 25th October and having already heard a promo of it, I can safely report that it supercedes the first one by some margin, hence our eagerness to thrust this information in your direction - definitely a band to watch and listen to. The review will be posted on this very site, very soon - meanwhile a single "A Darkness Rises" appears a week prior to the album, "Let me Come Home".
