While The Kills and The White Stripes are at rest until further notice, new boy-girl duo extraordinaire, Little Fish, are going places. After supporting the likes of Alice in Chains, Eagles of Death Metal, Them Crooked Vultures and more recently Hole and Blondie on tour over the past 18 months, Juju (the girl) and Nez (the boy) released their debut album, 'Baffled and Beat', produced by Linda Perry (former 4 Non Blonde and recurring producer for the likes of Pink, Courtney Love and Gwen Stefani), in mid-August.

The album boasts a handful of tunes such as 'Darlin' Dear', 'Am I Crazy', 'Sweat 'N Shiver' and 'Whiplash' - the titles of which should be enough to arouse one's curiosity.

The pair has also shown great performing skills, plausibly the reason for their becoming a favourite support act of the afore-mentioned big wig bands.

So, go on and see them for yourself as Little Fish are playing a few dates this autumn, starting with two support slots for Placebo on 27th and 28th September at Brixton Academy, followed with an appearance at the Cardiff SWN Festival on 22nd October, and November gigs at Old Blue Last in London (2nd), Roadhouse in Manchester (4th), Kasbah in Coventry (5th) and O2 Academy in hometown Oxford on the 13th.

Tickets for first Placebo and Little Fish date (27th) have literally just sold-out, but there are still a few for 28th, costing £28.50. Hurry up for Little Fish's very headlining gigs, which all cost a tenner or less, as neither the tickets or the opportunity to see this pair at such discount will last!
