It may be the beginning of a whole new month, but it's the end of a venue and an era for Cardiff's Barfly. The venue which is opposite Cardiff castle hosted its final gig last night (31st August) and today sports a sign stating that it has closed "until further notice".
It means that London is the last stronghold for the Barfly name, with Camden being the sole venue to bear the "Barfly" brand. There were a lot of acts due to play the venue, including, but not limited to: Nell Bryden, I am Arrows, The Union, Fenech Soler, TRC, Howard Marks and many more.
It's possible that some of these events may be moved to other venues - we'll keep you posted if we hear anything, otherwise it may be prudent to contact your point of purchase for a refund.
Bury Tomorrow's 26th September date will now be at Clwb Ifor Bach.
