Let the good times roll deeper - Roll Deep get the Green Light with 2010 album and Feb 2011 UK tour

Billed as 'grime' but with both feet now firmly in the pop world, Roll Deep have just notched up their second number 1 single with "Green Light", succeeding over Flo Rida to boot. The song features the usual array of rappers and singers from the crew including Wiley, Breeze and Scratchy and the requisite number of young ladies gettin' their freak on in the official video. You can watch it here - but don't view it whilst driving (you may end up in a ditch).

Naturally one song has to have a home and that home is the new album, due out in October. Called "Winner Stays On", it will appear on Relentless on the 26th of that month, around the same time as their already-confirmed Clubland Live 4 tour (with Tinchy Stryder, Ultrabeat and Scooter) - tickets are still available for those little beauties, £28.50 is the asking price. If you don't fancy an arena date, you can always pop along to London's Ally Pally on 30th Oct and watch them with Professor Green - it's a Lynx all-nighter at £21.40.

The even bigger news is the announcement of their 2011 headlining jaunt starting in February - this new tour begins in Liverpool on the 15th and continues around the country, including Bristol and Oxford until reaching the capital once more on the 28th. This time they will play smaller more intimate venues (in comparison to arenas, anyhow) with tickets going on sale this Friday (27th August) at 9AM.
