Imelda May

If you were hoping to see Imelda May on tour in September, you may have to think again because it's been rescheduled for 2011. It seems that the new album's release has gone awry, with a release now pencilled in for October. However the live headliners have been shifted past Christmas to February, starting with Newcastle on the 11th, Leeds on the 12th etc until Nottingham on the 19th.

This upheaval doesn't affect the October concerts from the 2nd (Brighton) to 10th (Wolverhampton) and tickets are still available for all these nights, priced at £17.50 plus fees. If you can't attend the new 2011 gigs then you should contact the ticket agent direct.

In addition, May is still appearing at the various festivals including St Ives in Cornwall on 21st September and the newly announced 75th birthday celebration, "Elvis Forever" in Hyde Park on 12th September. Her full revised schedule is listed below.

The new album will appear on 4th October and will be entitled "Mayhem" and follows up her Irish number 1 album, "Love Tattoo". You may well have already heard the first single "Psycho".
