A certain Mr Axl Rose yesterday tweeted that all of the forthcoming GNR dates have been cancelled.
The band are due to play Reading and Leeds this August as well as an autumn UK arena tour - their first such tour for four years, but that has been put into question after this late night tweet from www.twitter.com/axlrose:
All upcoming Guns N' Roses dates are officially cancelled. Please contact your place of purchase for any refunds.
No one is sure whether this truly is "official", not even the official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/gunsnroses) - is sure if it's true, it's very strange as tickets have been flying.
Our advice at the moment is to hold-tight: you don't want to give up your tickets to find his Twitter account was hacked or that he'd been at the JD and thought it'd be a laugh... We'll let you know as soon as we have official confirmation one way or the other.
Well, it did seem counter to any known logic, and it has now come to light that Axl's Twitter account was hacked [I reckon Axl was a little hacked as well - Ed], so the festival dates and tour are still ON!
