The antidote to the autumn blues - Sum 41 head-up the Eastpak Antidote Tour 2010

Sum 41

The Eastpak Antidote Tour returns in all its loud 'n heavy glory this October, with a charmed line-up that includes one of Canada's most successful exports and, don't fret kids, I don't mean Bryan Adams.

Nope, I meant Sum 41, purveyors of "All Killer, No Filler" and a continuous run of releases and live dates across the globe during the past decade or so. They will head up the Antidote Tour with a new album in tow, despite the unlucky singer Deryck Whibley copping an unfortunate one in Japan recently and doing his back in. The album is called "Screaming Bloody Murder" and gets a release later on this year.

As well as Sum 41, support will be provided by The Black Pacific (ex-Pennywise rockers), Riverboat Gamblers (established rock band) and Veara (pop-powerpunk outfit) and, as usual, sponsorship comes from Eastpak (no, me neither - they produce rucksacks, wallets, pouches and cool 'stuff' apparently).

The tour itself covers much of the UK, starting with Norwich on 27th October and continuing as far as Bristol on 3rd November with a London date confirmed at the HMV Forum on 29th October. The full list of dates is below and tickets cost £18 (£20 for London) plus fees, a veritable bargain for four decent rock bands on one bill.
