Fancy taking a flight to Planet Jedward? the X-Factor boys announce debut UK tour for November 2010

Posted: 13 years ago

Love 'em or hate 'em, Jedward have certainly made their mark on the nation's eardrums, one way or another. Despite finishing sixth overall, losing to Olly Murs, 2009 was the benchmark for their futures with the eventual release of the single "Ice Ice Baby", followed up in 2010 by their controversial cover version of Blink 182's "All the Small Things" - controversial because 99% of the Kerrang community wanted to, er, vent their feelings about the unique version. Ah the irony.

Jedward are out on tour in November and have confirmed a fair number of dates, starting with Glasgow on the 8th and continuing for a further sixteen nights until hitting the Indigo2 on the 29th. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, priced around £25 or less.

The jaunt is called the "Planet Jedward" tour, named after the recent release of their debut album, packed full of pop-nuggets including "Ghostbusters", "Fight For Your Right (To Party)" and "Rock DJ". Lord knows what they've done to "Teenage Kicks"...
