Just The Tonic

They may be Nottingham-based, but comedy company Just the Tonic hasn't had a permanent home for several years - until now. Founder Darrell Martin has now set up the new venue at The Cornerhouse in his home city and, to add to the excitement and of course customer service, JTT will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, in line with their other clubs in London and Edinburgh. Remember that the Nottingham club hosted the very first early stand-up routines by the likes of Ricky Gervais and Johnny Vegas.

Dylan Moran

It's the latter who forms part of the exciting first month's line-up, which begins with an intimate and now sold-out pair of gigs on 30th and 31st August by Dylan Moran. It's a special pre-launch pairing and is not a bad start - but there's more.

Johnny Vegas, plus guests, will also be appearing on 26th and 27th September and Milton Jones and Ed Byrne complete the big-name picture with gigs on 28th and 29th respectively. Tickets for all gigs are now available and will obviously sell-out pretty quick at £13-£15 plus fees.

Rob Deering

There may be more names added to the bill in early September, but looking forward to October sees Rob Deering (13th), Stewart Lee (18th), Dan Antopolski (28th) and Brendon Burns (31st) all using Just The Tonic as a touring stop-off point. See below for the full Nottingham line-up - it's rather tasty.

Milton Jones

As for the other venues, London's Just The Tonic has a varied line up featuring Milton Jones (21st Aug), Paul Sinha (1st Oct) and many more on the horizon. As you might expect, JTT in Edinburgh has an ongoing series of Fringe dates for the rest of August.
