They're from Leeds and, boy, are they noisy. Pulled Apart From Horses are not the most subtle of power-rock bands, especially with song titles like "Back To The F*ck Yeah" and "I Punched A Lion In The Throat". If any one of the buggers had achieved the latter, someone would've lost an arm, quite frankly.

With a new album under their belts, a debut album no less, you get the feeling that the bruising racketeers have something to prove on the 'live' front - perhaps their upcoming tour will convince you.

They kick off a chunk of gigs at the Reading and Leeds Festivals during the bank holiday as well as a supporting slot for Muse in Manchester alongside Editors and Band Of Skulls and an appearance at East London's Offset Festival on 6th Sep. But their headline dates begin on 6th September in Southampton and continue via Plymouth (10th - Eagle), Cardiff (14th - Clwb Ifor Bach) and Guildford (16th - Boileroom). In between the last two dates is a brand new addition to the proceedings, this time in Oxford at the city's Academy venue. This hot little ticket is available from Monday midday for £8.

The boys resume touring in November - see below for further details. Meanwhile, they have a new single out in September entitled "High Five, Swan Dive, Nose Dive", taken from their self-titled debut album.
