The acclaimed rock n bass outfit, Pendulum, seem to have crossed the final frontier between up-and-coming and pretty-much-made-it after several confirmed festival dates have or will propel them into near-superstar status. Sonisphere, Reading/Leeds and Ibiza Rocks are yet to welcome them this year, but they needn't fear the lack of devotion from fans - the new album "Immersion" has possibly succeeded the expectation of the band themselves and recent singles "Watercolour" and "Witchcraft" have continued the momentum somewhat.

But 'live' is what they do best and LOUD! News of an upcoming tour is always welcome and December's UK leg is no exception. Another single, the popular epic "The Island", is the standout track and is sure to make, dare I say it, an even bigger impact than previous releases. It's out on 20th September - get ready.

Get ready as well for those all important dates starting with Glasgow on 1st December, followed by Birmingham (2nd), Wembley Arena (3rd), Nottingham (4th), Bournemouth (7th), Manchester (8th), Newcastle (9th) and Aberdeen (10th). All dates are on sale at 9am this Friday priced £22.50 - £25. You've got to be quick to get these.

Their next UK live date is actually in London in Hackney's Victoria Park on Friday as well, supporting DJ Tiesto - there are still a few limited tickets up for £39. I imagine East London will reverberate to the strains of "Salt in the Wounds" and wonder what hit it.
