Join the queue for Avenue Q's discounted top seats for July 2010

Proving to be quite a draw to the West End's Wyndham Theatre at present is the all-grown-up live action and puppet musical, "Avenue Q". Originally premiered on Broadway in 2003 and subsequently the West End in 2006 the story, written by Jeff Whitty (great surname), deals with a group of neighbours who live on a scruffy street ("Avenue Q") in an even scruffier neighbourhood in New York City. Main character, Princeton, is a college graduate who needs somewhere cheap to live, can't afford Avenue A and plumps for Q instead. The residents cannot decide whose life sucks the most and proceed to bury themselves in sex, porn and beer, spurred on by the voices of The Bad Idea Bears. It's all very hilarious - a few pals have mine have been and said 'it's quite a riot'.
The humour is decidedly teenage and adult-orientated, so probably not a good idea for younger ones, even though it is part of Kids Week (the free and dirt-cheap theatre promotion we reported on last week).
For a limited period only, you can buy £25 'best seats' that normally cost £39.50 by clicking on the offer box below. The selected performances are from next Monday (26th) until Friday (30th) only and are on a first come first served basis.
In addition, further full-price tickets have just been released for the longer run from 27th September to 30th October, costing the usual full price.
