Twelve nights only for One Night Only - 'Say You Don't Want It' heralds summer 2010 album and autumn tour

Posted: 13 years ago

"Sing Like you Want this" indeed - One Night Only return to the spotlight with another tour and a brand new album that looks set to emulate the success of "Started A Fire", released in 2007. A few months later and the band were a permanent fixture on radio with the bright and breezy pop-rock song "Just For Tonight" (which always reminds me of "Enola Gay" by OMD for some reason). Although subsequent singles failed to storm the charts, their fan base has grown quickly enough to spur the boys on to making a follow-up album.

The self-titled set will appear on 23rd August, with the blindingly-catchy single "Say You Don't Want It" released a week earlier. You can hear a snippet of that song on their My Space page and I defy you not to be humming it five-minutes later. In support of the album, a new tour beckons and the band will begin a twelve date run in Dublin on 20th October, followed by Belfast (21st), Dundee (22nd), Glasgow (23rd), Leeds (24th), Birmingham (26th), Norwich (27th), Manchester (28th), Brighton (29th), Bristol (30th), Oxford (1st Nov) and finally London (2nd Nov).

Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am and cost between £10 and £12.50 - bargain!
