The Wickerman Festival 2010 starts Friday 23rd July, featuring The Charlatans, Ocean Colour Scene, Fenech Soler + more

Come next week (-end), the Wickerman festival will resume the ninth chapter of its history! The music festival will take place from Friday 23 to Saturday 24 near Kirkcudbright, Scotland.

Headliners include mighty The Charlatans on the Friday and Ocean Colour Scene on the Saturday, plus Teenage Fanclub, The Futureheads, Fenech Soler, Tony Christie, The Saw Doctors, Sons & Daughters and Wales' pride and joy (ahem!), Goldie Lookin' Chain!

Ska and punk fans will be entertained over the two days by Pama International (featuring the Specials' Lynval Golding), Buzzcocks, The Undertones, Orange and many more.

If that weren't enough to convince you, maybe the fine selection of newcomers that are I Am Arrows (former Razorlight drummer,Andy Burrow's side project outside of his new full-time band, We Are Scientists); Sunderland four-piece, Little Comets, whose debut single 'One Night in October' ranked number three in the UK Independent Charts when it was first released in early 2009,and Adele's own protégé, Alan Pownall, whose debut album, 'True Love Stories', is out on 19th July, will.

There are still a few tickets left and with such bargain prices (adult weekend tickets cost £90, including camping and parking; under 12s get in for free), you need have no hesitation!
