Plan B plans well ahead - 2011 tour schedule and next studio album already announced

Posted: 13 years ago

Fast becoming the Peter Kay or John Bishop of grime and rap, is one Ben Drew AKA Plan B. I don't mean that he has recently had some good eating or developed a Scouse accent, it seems he has caught the bug of tour announcements almost a year in advance! With several festival-slots and a UK tour due in 2010, the grime-star has already been mapping out his future next year. Still, after the success of the 2010 set "The Defamation of Strickland Banks" (number 1 in Britain), who can blame him?

His next touring phase in 2011 will begin in Manchester on 2nd March and continue to Wolverhampton (3rd), Blackpool (4th), Doncaster (5th), Swindon (7th), Plymouth (8th), Brighton (9th) and the O2 Arena (10th). Tickets go on sale this Friday, priced at £17.50 - £22.50 plus fees (depending on location).

Plan B has another studio planned for the tail-end of the year, rumoured to be called "The Ballad of Belmarsh", no doubt already planned in to be part of his upcoming summer activity including Saturday's Relentless NASS Festival in Somerset, the iTunes Festival on the 26th July and a few others between now and October (when his next tour begins - Nottingham on the 6th).
