Amy MacDonald to show off her pretty face and more at new UK tour dates in October 2010

Posted: 13 years ago

Glaswegian singer-songwriter and chart-success Amy MacDonald has announced a brand new UK tour for the autumn, but not before releasing a new single on the 19th July entitled "This Pretty Face". It's a perky little poke-in-the-eye, aimed at the shallow dullness of celebrity, and you can watch it by clicking on the image just to the right of these words.

Amy's popularity continues to gather pace with her recently released second album, "A Curious Thing", still making the Top 5 despite less physical promotion than afforded for her million-selling debut "This is the Life" released in 2007. Until now, that is, because Amy is on the road in October with a handful of dates in October beginning in Manchester on the 19th before continuing on to Aberdeen (20th), Glasgow (21st), Dundee (23rd), Newcastle (24th), Cambridge (25th), Hammersmith (26th), Birmingham (28th) and Nottingham (29th). Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 2nd July, priced at £22.50 (£25 for London).

These headline gigs will follow up the various summer festival slots dotted around the calendar - she will appear at Manchester's MEN Arena on 15th July for the venue's 15th birthday along with Pixie Lott and Gabriella Cilmi etc (£44), at London's iTunes Festival on the 16th and finally Edinburgh's Edge Festival on 18th. iTunes is all snapped up but the Scottish date is still up for £26.25.
