She burst onto our screens in 2004 on 'Later With Jools Holland', singing the bouncy "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree", and booked a permanent place in the hearts of many, particularly in her beloved home-land of Scotland. She must like the place because, no sooner has she completed a 'Rub-A-Dub' tour up there this month, then more dates appear on the calendar.

Three highland/island gigs have been announced under the banner of 'The Troika Tour', possibly acting as warm-ups for bigger dates around the UK in support of her new eagerly-awaited album, "Tiger Suit" (due for release in September).

She will play in Stornoway (Isle of Lewis) on 3rd August, Sleat (Isle Of Skye) on 4th August, Tobermory (Mull) on the 5th and Kirkwall (Orkney) on the 9th with tickets on sale from 10am on Friday (tomorrow), priced around £15 plus fees.

The new album is likely to be toured 'live' later in the year with a new band, featuring the talents of Charlotte Hatherley, herself an experienced musician with power-poppers Ash in the 90s and as a live guitarist with Bat For Lashes. We'll keep you posted when KT gets her band together for UK dates.
