Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical - top tickets for half-price - £29.50 until 30th July 2010

Priscilla Queen of the Desert

Sixteen years after the hugely successful film, starring Terence Stamp, Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce, cracked the box-office apart with its light-hearted tale of three drag queens touring Australia in a bus, "Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert" has certainly proved to have legs, er, I mean wheels. Nominated for Oscars (and winning one for best costume), further Golden Globes and, more recently, conversion to a musical.

Based on the original story by Stephan Elliot and Allan Scott, the musical version debuted in Sydney in 2006 and has been performed in the West End since 2009. Now you have a chance to see this exciting and flamboyant production being played at the Palace Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, for the top-seat price of just £29.50 instead of £59.25 - and there's no booking fee, either!

Tickets for the offer are available now and, unlike many other West End theatre offers, this includes a few matinee and weekend performances until 30th July. Evening seats can be purchased for Tuesday to Friday while matinee seats are available on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. And, get this - with every £29.50 ticket purchased, you get a free feather boa to get you in the spirit with the hard-bitten characters, battling against prejudice and poverty on their beloved tour-coach, Priscilla.
