War Child
We are an international charity that protects children living in the world's most dangerous war zones. (War Child)

It's a simple yet telling remit isn't it? Centuries on, humans are still squabbling about all manner of pointless issues, leaving children destitute and permanently damaged. Thankfully, the good people of War Child continue to organize events to fund rehabilitation for those less able to.

The Pub Landlord's Southbank Jukebox, to be held at the Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday 27th July, is one such event and what a cracker it is. Starring Al Murray, The Pub Landlord it will feature some 'top turns' from the world of music and comedy, guaranteed to have you grinning from ear to ear and wiggling your toes as well.

Madness are a household-name with an enviable back catalogue of cheeky English pop - "House of Fun", "Baggy Trousers", "One Step Beyond" and last year's acclaimed "Norton Folgate" album have ensured Suggs and co remain in the public's psyche. Watch them perform some of their greatest hits in their own inimitable style.

Jason Manford is a comedian on the rise, a likeable and affable fella who is a mainstay on '8 out of 10 Cats', 'Would I Lie To You?' and several sell-out dates, including a spot of O2 action this year. He is Adrian Chile's replacement on BBC's 'The One Show' and is a genuinely funny bloke.

With one more special guest still to be announced, tickets are going on sale this Thursday at 10am, priced at £35. Before you do the sums, that's around £9 per act! A small price to pay for such a huge cause. Enjoy - oh and we'll let you know who that special extra guest is as soon as he/she/it is announced!
