FM have stepped-in at the last minute for RATT, who will be unable to make this Sunday's scheduled appearance at Download 2010, owing to lead singer Stephen Percy undergoing surgery. Obviously, this means RATT's UK tour, which was due to start just after the Download appearance has also been cancelled.

The veteran British hard-rockers FM, featuring original members Steve Overland, Merv Goldsworthy and Pete Jupp will play the main Maurice Jones Stage from 11:45 on Sunday. This year's download is a heavyweight affair, featuring AC/DC, Them Crooked Vultures, the reinvigorated Rage Against the Machine (who gave their earnings from their 'X Factor displacement' gig at the weekend to the homeless charity Shelter - nice one, boys), Deftones, Aerosmith, Motorhead , Bullet for My Valentine, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Stonesour, HIM and many, many more.

Tickets are still available online for all dates, with five night camping (starting tonight!), costing £180 + fees, weekend camping (starting Friday) costing £170 and day tickets costing £75 for either Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
