Manic Street Preachers

It seems like hardly yesterday that we were reporting on the Manics playing at T In The Park 2010 and a UK tour in support of their 2009 album 'Journal for Plague Lovers' and now the Welsh-wizards return with another, their tenth, in September with an extensive UK tour planned for a few weeks afterwards.

The new album is entitled "Postcards From a Young Man" and sees the threesome stretch out and reach their 'silver jubilee' as a band when the calendar flips to 2011. Meanwhile, the new set gets a release on the 20th September and Messrs Wire, Bradfield and Moore take to the road, starting with Glasgow on the 29th September and continuing via Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Carlisle, Hull, Sheffield, Liverpool and many more (see below for list) until 1st November when the tour ends in Cambridge. Tickets go on sale at 9am from Friday 4th June, priced at £26.50.

Prior to this massive amount of activity, the trio will be playing a few overseas festivals including the Bilbao BBK Live 2010 Festival in Spain on 10th July - and, yes, there are some tickets left for that one at £80 for the three days.

Meanwhile, good luck with getting tickets for the UK tour - it's going to be a hot ticket!
