Sonisphere 2010 daily line-up and tickets announced

Rock festival newbie Sonisphere has announced its daily line-ups for the 2010 event at Knebworth at the end of July, with daily tickets now on sale. The event takes place between Thursday 29th July and Sunday 1st August for camping ticket-holders, or Friday to Sunday for day ticket-holders.

Friday

Alice Cooper brings his Theatre of Death to Knebworth, headlining the Friday night, with other acts including: Europe, Apocalyptica, Turisas, Delain, Terrorvision, 65 days of static, Bigelf, Black Spiders, Fastway, Sylosis, Fei Comodo, Lower Than Atlantis, And So I Watch You From Afar, Chickenhawk, Deaf Havana, Failsafe, March Of The Raptors, Throats and more playing the five stages on that day. Tickets for Friday cost £40 + fees.

Saturday

Rammstein bring their brand of German industrial metal to the UK again for 2010 (there was a brief UK tour this February), along with alternative rockers Placebo and Papa Roach with Anthrax, Lacuna Coil, Family Force 5, Motley Crue, Skunk Anansie, Fear Factory, Soulfly, Sabaton, Gallows, Evile, Heavens Basement, Katatonia, Polar Bear Club, Renegades, Sick of it All, Therapy?, Blitz Kids, Little Fish, All Forgotten, Bow And Arrow, Bury Tomorrow, Cars On Fire, InMe, Kellermensch, Rinoa, While She Sleeps, Audrey Horne, The Casino Brawl and more playing the fiove music stages. Australian comedian/ beat poet Tim Minchin heads-up the comedy for the night, along with Kiwi stand-up Jarred Christmas. Saturday day-tickets cost £65 + fees.

Sunday

Iron Maiden headline Sunday night's musical doings, along with Pendulum, Alice in Chains, Slayer, Skindred, Madina Lake, Iggy and the Stooges, The Cult, Bring Me The Horizon, Dir En Grey, CKY, Funeral For A Friend, 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Fightstar, Henry Rollins, Karnivool, Municipal Waste, Rise To Remain, The Union, Voodoo 6 , After The Ordeal, FireBug, Inner City Dwellers, Me Vs Hero, Tek-One, The Bendal Interlude, The Ghost Of A Thousand, The Worldonfire, The Xcerts, Boys With Xray Eyes, Slaves to Gravity. Sean Hughes and Jarred Christmas provide a bit of rib-tickling action on the Bohemia Comedy stage. Sunday day-tickets also cost £65 + fees.

Tickets for the whole weekend cost £157.50 for camping/ family camping or £132.50 for the weekend with no camping.
