Flame-haired chanteuse and performer Tori Amos returns to London and Dublin for a pair of special gigs at the Iveagh Gardens and Victoria Apollo Theatre on Sunday 16th and 18th July and, to quote one of her more recent songs, "Welcome to England", indeed.
Tickets for the Dublin concert are on sale now, priced at 45.00, with the London date going on sale tomorrow at 9am, costing £38.50.
Dividing her time between Cornwall and Florida, the temperate sunny climates in both locations seems to have suited Amos during recent years with suitably creative juices in full-flow last year. Two albums in six months isn't bad going - the first was "Abnormally Attracted to Sin", a full-length studio-album that hailed a new era with Amos signing a deal with Universal while the second was a seasonal collection entitled "Midwinter Graces" that featured a more stripped-down and organic sound with several not-so-obvious winter themes (rather than just the usual "Once in Royal David's City" fare).
It remains to be seen whether she performs these songs in the middle of summer but, hey, you never know with Tori, but with sizeable and fascinating back-catalogue to choose from, Amos fans won't go hungry on this night.
