Jakob Dylan's Women and Country July 2010 UK/ Ireland tour

Posted: 13 years ago

Jakob, son of you-know-who, has momentarily let go of his band, The Wallflowers, to deliver his second solo album, 'Women & Country', released last month and produced by family-friend and producer extraordinaire, T Bone Burnett ( Counting Crows, k.d Lang, Natalie Merchant, Joseph Arthur, to name a few). 'Women and Country' succeeds Jakob D's first solo effort, 'Seeing Things', produced by Rick Rubin and released in 2008.

Though the Wallflowers' last record dates back from 2005, in recent interviews, Jakob Dylan has made clear that it was nothing more than a hiatus and that the band would reform as soon as... Until then, Jakob will grace his British and Irish fans with his soulful Americana in July as he will perform a series of gigs, starting in London (at the Barbican, on the 23rd), via Gateshead (25th), Glasgow (26th) , Galway (28th) and Dublin (29th).

Tickets for the Women & Country tour are on sale now, ranging from £18.00 to £22.50 in the UK, costing €30.00 in Ireland.
