Who fancies a Slash? Rock guitar legend is back in the UK for more Summer 2010 gigs

Slash

Rock gods eh? No sooner do we tell you about one riff-master (Joe Satriani), another one comes along with a list of performances as long as your arm (providing your arm doesn't drag along the ground of course). Slash is back in the UK for new festival dates PLUS a few headliners for good measure, the latter have JUST gone on sale this morning.

Let's look at the headliners first. The man plays his own thang in Dublin on 29th June, Belfast on the 30th, Edinburgh on the 1st July and Manchester on the 3rd. Prices start at £25 (Edin / Manc) and £35 for Belfast. Dublin is up for €42.20. Make no mistake - these are the hottest tickets so get in quick.

I imagine Slash is pretty Stoked to be back in his homeland (nerdy rock gag) and also gets to grace a few festival stages over the summer as well. Download 2010 is his first port of call and, with tickets still available, might be the best chance the Midlands will have for seeing him. Glasto will provide him with a warm-up (as if he needs one) for his Dublin gig - he's on during the 27th June while on the 4th July he joins the Hyde Park Wireless line-up alongside Jay-Z and Lily Allen (tickets are also still available).

With his brand new album hitting the shops last month (with pretty much most of Appetite-era Guns N Roses, minus nemesis Axl), it's a busy year for one of the most iconic rockers out there.

Update

As of 9AM, Thurs 12th March, all solo dates are now sold-out - don't say we didn't warn you! You can still buy tickets for London's Wireless Festival in July or tickets for Donington's Download in a few weeks time, if you still want to see the man in action.
