San Francisco's alt-rockers BRMC have announced an additional 2010 tour for December, in support of their just-ending Spring burst. The boys will begin a new string of dates in December at Nottingham's Rock City on the 3rd with further nights confirmed on the 5th in Manchester, 6th in Glasgow, 7th in Birmingham, 9th in Norwich, 10th in Bristol and finally back to London on the 11th at the Brixton Academy.

Tickets have just gone on sale, priced at £18.50 (£20 for London) and are already starting to shift.

The band has recently released their sixth studio album, "Beat The Devil's Tattoo", the second on their recently-created Abstract Dragon label (they left Virgin in 2007). Despite being on a tiny label, the band has been firing on all cylinders on their recent UK tour although an illness forced the band to cancel their Rock City gig on 24th April - tickets for that show are valid for the 3rd December date.

And how about this for true respect for fans - their recent Camden Ballroom was beset with the problem of late arrival of their equipment. Like a trouper, lead singer Robert Turner went outside and sang a medley of BRMC tunes with an acoustic guitar to entertain the crowds waiting to get in. Nice one.
