The Hop Farm Festival 2010 extended to two days with inclusion of Van Morrison

Van Morrison

Just the other day we were rejoicing at the announcement of Bob Dylan headlining the third edition of the no-sponsor/branding Kent-based festival, The Hop Farm Festival 2010, which was slated to be shortened to one-day instead of its habitual two Well, it's with total delight that we're spreading the word that The Hop Farm Festival will regain its two-day standing and take place on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd July.

And guess who's headlining on Friday?... The oh-so mighty Van Morrison! We'd said the Hop Farm was going from strength to strength: first it was Neil Young in 2008, then Paul Weller last year, now Dylan and Morrison! What's more, the rest of the line-up announced so far is not bad either - note the understatement as per the following: Ray Davies, Peter Doherty, Laura Marling, Seasick Steve and The Magic Numbers will rock the main stage on the Saturday, while we're still waiting to hear who will precede Van Morrison on the Friday.... No qualms to be had- put your blindfolded trust in the festival programmers and book your tickets pronto: £45 for Friday only, £65 for Saturday only, £110 for both days, plus £25 if you intend on camping (tent or campervan).
