Ozzy Osbourne

Since 2007, those lovely people over at Apple's iTunes have been providing us lucky Londoners with a whole month's worth of excellent free gigs in July - and this year is no exception looking at the initial line-up.

Changing venues between 2007 and 2008, it looks to have found a comfortable home in the excellent Roundhouse in Camden. Each night is set to boast a pair of acts over the 31 days of July (I've checked and it's not a leap year, so it's definitely 31 days this year).

The Scissor Sisters

Opening proceedings on 1st July are multi award-winning New Yorkers Scissor Sisters, who will be releasing their third album 'Night Work' the month before. The quintet have not been over to these shores since 2007, so I'd say it's likely they'll be announcing some more UK dates in support of the new album.

Tony Bennett makes it a trio of London dates with his appearance on the 2nd July, playing back-to-back Royal Albert Hall dates just before - he now has a pretty full UK and ireland schedule from 30th June until 13th July - check below for the full itinerary and ticket availability.

Ozzy Osbourne

3rd July sees rocker Ozzy Osbourne return to the UK gig scene after a three year hiatus. The Black Sabbath singer will also release his latest album just prior to the date -the first album not to feature Black Label Society's Zakk Wylde on guitar. 'Scream' wil be his tenth studio album and will come out on 15th June. Hmmm... do we smell a potential UK tour here, or is that the remnants of that Volcanic ash?

Tickets for all dates can only be obtained via competitions on the iTunes Festival website: www.itunesfestival.co.uk
