Come mid-July, once again, the "annual love-letter to the capital" (to quote The Guardian) will be there for all willing to read, as Lovebox 2010 will unfold from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th, in glorious Victoria Park (bad weather forbidden). While recently we were revelling at the headline line-up, which will see the slick and flamboyant Roxy Music and Grace Jones gracing the main stage, respectively on Saturday and Sunday, the bill boasts other ear-worthy acts in rhythm-pleasing (of late) trio Noisettes as well as indie rockers The Maccabees and Mystery Jets on the Friday (preceding festival-favourite headliner, Dizzee Rascal), Mark Ronson and the Business, soulful scenestress Paloma Faith, and NYC experimental indie rockers Yeasayer on the Saturday, and the electronica master collective of Hot Chip, foul-mouthed goddess Peaches, her mates Hercules and Love Affair (fronted by the Mercury-prize winner Anthony Hegarty) as well as the freshly-returned dance rockers of New Young Pony Club , among many others, all spread across seven stages.

Tickets are currently on sale, costing £45 for a one-dayer, £80 for the two-day option and £99 for all the festivities.
