Motörhead celebrate 35 years with November 2010 UK tour and album

Posted: 14 years ago

Motörhead is 35! Rocking out since 1975, Lemmy and his wild boys have graced the world with a string of classics (including the timeless 'Ace of Spades') in a nineteen-album-strong discography, their last to date being 'Motorizer' in 2008. Earlier this year - probably aware of this milestone - they announced new material was on its way, with a twentieth album expected in the autumn.

So come November, the hard rocking trio will hit the road, kicking the loudness off in Aberdeen on the 8th , via the cities of Glasgow (9th) , Blackburn (12th) , Manchester (16th) , Bristol (19th) , Cambridge (22nd) , Leeds (25th) and London (26th) , among others before finishing in Brighton on the 28th.

In the meantime, they will join the starry line-up of this year's Download Festival, on 13th June, along with Rage Against the Machine, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Them Crooked Vultures , Wolfmother et al.

Tickets for Motörhead's November tour cost £26.00 regionally, £32.50 in London (+fees) and go on sale tomorrow, Friday 19th March at 9am.
