Macca's No Slacker - 2010 UK and Ireland Tour and Festival Dates Confirmed for Paul McCartney

Posted: 14 years ago

He needs no introduction so I won't bore you with one, suffice to say that Macca magic returns to the UK and Ireland in June. The five performances will form part of the 'Up and Coming' tour and includes his first stand-alone gig in the UK as well as first appearance in Wales for (cough) 31 years. I dunno, these legends - they play just one UK show in 2009 and then a load turn up in one go.

His first domestic stop is in Dublin at the RDS on June 12th with tickets on sale from 9am on Monday 8th March, before heading off to only his second UK festival appearance at the Isle Of Wight Festival on the 13th (his last out-door shebang like this was Glasto in 2004). Tickets are on sale now for IOW.

Next up is a headliner all on his own at Glasgow's Hampden Park on 20th June. It's been almost two decades since Paul last conquered Scotland and tickets will go on sale from 9am on Monday 8th March, which is the same day that Macca's next gig, at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff on 26th June, also goes on sale. Both of these events are going to fly out - 31 years since last playing Wales should be enough to convince anyone that it won't be another 31 years until the next one (well, realistically at least).

His final date of the year is on 27th June at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in London's Hyde Park with tickets for this day costing £62.50 + fees and going on sale at 9am on March 5th (this Friday folks). Make sure your clicking finger has plenty of exercise before then (on our site of course!).
