After six years of success and mammoth popularity the South West Four festival has finally taken the next step for 2010 to present the public with two days of music, food and atmosphere as it launches its inaugural South West Four Weekender!

Festival organiser Danny Newman has already stated the weekender will herald 'a new era' for the UK's premier dance festival which retains its home in the 20,000 capacity Clapham Common and takes place over the Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of August. If the Bank Holiday wasn't good enough news the headline acts will add further fuel to the occasion. Saturday 29th sees Dutch trance producer and superstar DJ Armin van Buuren take the stage and the following night sees our own home grown legend Fatboy Slim headline for his only London appearance this year. With many, many more acts to be announced it is set to be THE UK dance event of the year yet again, with the added bonus of having a day off work to recover, god bless Bank Holidays. Limited Early Bird tickets for a single day are set at £37.50 + booking fee with the full weekend a bargain £72.50 + booking fees. Just hit the links below to be a part of the behemoth festival that just grows in stature each year.

With South West Four up-sizing to two days, what happens to its indie sister festival Get Loaded in the Park? Well, my friends, Get Loaded in the Park will return to its club roots by becoming 'Get Loaded in the Dark' (you see what they did there?) - the debut of which was seen at new year's eve at the Brixton Academy. The next event takes place at the Coronet in South East London on 1st April, with Shaun Ryder's Black Grape marking their return at the gig. You'd be a fool to miss it...
